Käsefondue

Für unsere Familie ist Käsefondue ein ideales Familienessen in der Winterzeit. Es ist blitzschnell zubereitet, man kann stundenlang gemütlich am Tisch sitzen und dabei endlos erzählen. Das mag ich alles sehr gerne.

Have you ever eaten cheese fondue? It is a classic Swiss national dish. You need a communal pot, called caquelon and a spirit lamp to keep the cheese smooth. With a fork you dip your bread or veggies into the cheese. For our family fondue with cheese is an ideal family dinner during winter season. It is easily prepared and you can enjoy a long  dinner with your family. That's what I really like.

Have a happy and peaceful Advent season. In Germany, Advent is the four-week period leading up to Christmas Eve. On each Sunday we light up a new candle on the advent wreath. During Advent we do lots of decorating and baking, but we also take time to reflect and feel the special spirit and atmosphere.

frisch aus dem Backofen

Heute morgen habe ich die ersten Plätzchen gebacken. Im Moment kühlen sie gerade aus und werden dann noch mit Schokolade verziert. Wer möchte darf schon mal naschen lol

This morning I baked the first cookies of this years advent season. At the moment, they are laying on the cooling rack and waiting for the chocolate decoration. You are allowed to snack lol
